About MealSuite

MealSuite builds end-to-end foodservice technology for healthcare and senior living organizations. Our mission is to help care teams deliver better dining experiences with less effort. We’re a fast-growing team working on meaningful problems that directly impact patient and resident care.

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to launch and grow MealSuite’s presence in Australia. This is a unique opportunity to join a market-entry initiative and build the commercial foundation for our Australian business from the ground up.

You will own new business development across residential aged care, retirement living, and healthcare organizations. You will be responsible for building pipeline, developing strategic partnerships, and establishing MealSuite as a trusted partner in the Australian care sector.

This is a highly autonomous role suited to someone who thrives in entrepreneurial environments, enjoys building from scratch, and is excited by the opportunity to shape both market strategy and future team growth.

What You’ll Do

• Build and prioritize a target account list, identifying key decision makers across retirement living, aged care, and healthcare organizations
• Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities across Australia
• Lead discovery conversations to understand customer foodservice, nutrition, and compliance needs
• Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline visibility, and forecasting
• Develop relationships with contract caterers, food distributors, nutrition consultants, care technology providers, and other ecosystem partners
• Leverage existing global partnerships and collaborate with North American teams to create opportunities in the Australian market
• Represent MealSuite at industry associations, conferences, and networking events
• Convert market awareness activities into qualified meetings and pipeline opportunities
• Help define future sales team structure and contribute to hiring decisions as the Australian business expands

What You Bring

• 7+ years of B2B sales or business development experience with a proven record of hunting and closing new business
• Experience working in market-entry, startup, or early-stage growth environments
• Experience working effectively within distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders ranging from frontline operators to executive leaders
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and build processes where none exist

Why You’ll Love Working Here

• Unlimited paid time off – we trust our employees to create balance
• Retirement savings support – employer retirement contribution programs where applicable
• Health benefits – comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage from day one
• Hybrid flexibility – balance in-person collaboration with remote work
• Career development opportunities – we invest in your long-term growth
• Equity program participation – share in MealSuite’s success
• Opportunity to help build and shape an entirely new market for the business
• Purpose-driven work that directly improves dining experiences and quality of care

Compensation

AUD $140,000 – $170,000 Base Salary

Plus uncapped commission:
• 12% of ARR invoiced from new business opportunities
• Uncapped earning potential
