We are looking for a Business Development Manager who is eager to contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking studio environment. The Business Development Manager role is a full-time position based in our Sydney studio at 333 George st., Sydney 2000.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Growth Planning: Designing long-term business plans and revenue models in consultation with senior management
  • Market & Opportunity Analysis: Researching local and international market trends, competitor behaviour, and viability for expansion. Deliver BD initiatives across multiple jurisdictions and target markets. Including profiling and events in the APAC region
  • Strategic Partnerships: Establishing high-value relationships with clients, or business to business (B2B) collaborations to boost market positioning
  • Performance Forecasting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) forecasting revenue, and managing strategic budgets for return on investment (ROI)

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Attending networking events, and researching incoming leads
  • Client Relationship Management: maintenance of client relationships and supporting client needs
  • Proposal and Contract Drafting: writing business proposals, pitching to prospective clients, and reviewing existing project relationships
  • Cross-Team Collaborations: Working alongside marketing team to align with daily promotional or launch efforts

SKILLS

  • Degree and or relevant experience in Business Development
  • Speaks multiple languages to aid international communication.
  • Networking and communication: capable of driving BD strategies.
  • 10+ years’ experience as Business Development Manager commercial / property sector for a builder with relevant contacts.
  • Knows how to get ahead of the tender process working on BIDS, EOIs or pitching the businesses capability
  • MUST have recent and relevant experience in the Australia and New Zealand architecture and multidisciplinary sector and be able to demonstrate excellent working relationships and good tenure with existing clients and other stakeholders
  • Proven success in a business development role
