Opportunity Overview:

We are searching for a motivated and high-performing Business Development Manager to expand our market share in the NSW Education Public sector and own the New Zealand region. You are a target-driven salesperson who is all over their numbers and a pro at building and managing their pipeline. Reporting to the ANZ Sales Director, you will assist in defining the strategy for your region and executing with pace.

The Day to Day:

Revenue generation: 

  • Generate new business within NSW & ACT across all sectors (Catholic, Private & Public) & New Zealand (all sectors), and expansion sales within the early stages of the customer lifecycle for customers within this geographical patch
  • Manage and develop the sales pipeline for your regions and consistently hit sales targets
  • Demonstrate the Vivi solution and manage all aspects of the sales process till completion
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within schools & resellers 

Solution Expertise: 

  • Develop a deep and comprehensive understanding of our SaaS platform, staying informed about new features, updates, and trends. Communicate the value proposition to prospects, clearly articulating how our offerings can address their unique challenges and drive success. 

Reporting & Analysis: 

  • Manage planning and sales forecasting for given territory, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. 

Collaboration: 

  • Foster strong collaboration with sales, marketing, customer success, product, and other cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience. Serve as an advocate for the customer. 

About You:

  • At least 4 years experience as a BDM within SaaS / Tech
  • Edtech or AV experience advantageous
  • Proven track record of hitting / exceeding a given revenue target
  • Experience managing a territory, strategising & executing the most effective methods to achieve territory objectives (ARR targets, # of new customers)
  • Experience in engaging in a sufficient level of revenue generating activity (eg: meetings, calls) to support achievement of territory objectives
  • Experience managing negotiations and complex pricing conversations with multiple stakeholders carrying differing objectives (eg: IT office, finance)
  • Experiencing overcoming sales objections
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including being able to build a network of key prospects
  • Experience forecasting projected revenue for territory and managing admin associated with a sales role
