A great opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager who is a strategic thinker with market knowledge to keep up with current and future sales trends within the industry.

Your role is to identify and close business opportunities whilst building and establishing customer relationships.

We are looking for a result driven person who can deliver value to our customers through high quality support and knowledgeable solutions.

Your responsibility:

  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of the market & product solutions we can provide.
  • Prospect new business and build a strong pipeline.
  • Hunt new opportunities within existing business by developing strong relationships with other Sales Representatives and Account Managers (Cross Selling opportunities)
  • Plan, schedule, and review sales opportunities
  • Prepare tenders & quotes in line with our pricing policy
  • Manage your portfolio and ensure that our customers are receiving premium service.
  • Work closely with branch staff to ensure continuous customer service excellence.

About you – Skills and experience: 

  • Previous experience in the hose and fitting industry with an understanding of solution selling Industrial Products and services.
  • Able to undertake regular country travel
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, business planning and sales strategy skills
  • Develop innovative ideas and strategies in sales planning and forecasting.
  • High energy, passionate about collaboration with a professional outlook
