This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you as a Business Development Manager to showcase your solution selling skills for the Storage Equipment Division (SED) either in our Sydney or Melbourne office.

The role focuses on Business Development selling innovative solutions, as well as providing Account Management by nurturing existing client relationships and driving new business opportunities by leveraging Dematic’s outstanding reputation in the Logistics and Automation space.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role is:
Cold calling and being able to recognise new sales opportunities
Being able to identify, develop and maintain sales prospects by nurturing and developing on going relationships by fully understanding their key requirements
Monitor satisfaction of customer requirements from enquiry through to implementation and ongoing servicing
Being able to generate and present customer proposals and present at networking events
Being able to travel across Australia and possibly NZ
Work closely with the SED Sales Manager who is based in Qld
About You
An engineering degree will be highly regarded (although not essential)
Proven solution sales of high value capital equipment (Warehousing equipment environment would be ideal)
Technical capacity along with a Hunter sales mindset
Proven track record of effective business development, account management, developing new business opportunities and successfully meeting and exceeding internal targets
Have strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Excellent time management and organization skills
Experienced and confident engaging with senior stakeholders
Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced Business Development environment
