About the Opportunity 

The primary role of the business development manager is to support and manage a portfolio of existing registry operator customers and to win new contracts for registry back end services. The role will be supported by our customer service team and engineering teams. The role also requires the ability to develop new business opportunities by working on RFPs, finding new potential gTLD or dot brands registry operators or getting existing gTLD and ccTLD managers to migrating to our services.

Job Duties
  • Account Manage a portfolio of registry operators globally
  • Request for Proposal (RFP) work including drafting responses, document management and collaborating with internal teams
  • Lead generation and direct outreach
  • Support prospects through application process for gTLDs to delegation and launch
  • Become a key resource to help grow the registry services business
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 
  • Domain name industry experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent with internet, domains technologies and ICANN processes and policies
  • Sales hunter by nature with proven sales track record
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • High energy and self-motivated
  • Must be highly adaptable and able to learn new applications quickly
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • Ability to multi-task and deal with shifting priorities
  • Honesty, assertiveness and systematic approach
  • Fluent in English verbally and in writing
  • Additional languages is a clear advantage
Qualifications Required 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience from a similar role
  • Global partner channel experience
  • Demonstrated results in meeting sales quotas or business development goals
  • Good technical understanding
  • Knowledge about domain names / DNS preferred

The base salary range for this position is $99,270 - $110,300 USD for US residents OR $90,180 - $100,200 CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications.
