Job Summary 

As the Wild ANZ Business Development Manager, you will shape, scale, and accelerate one of Unilever’s most exciting purposeled brands across Australia and New Zealand. You will be the connector between Wild Global and ANZ, leading brand strategy, category growth, media and activation planning, innovation pipeline development, and retailerspecific execution.  

 

Key Responsibilities 

Wild ANZ Strategy & Business Growth Model 

  • Collaborate with Wild Global to localise, develop and execute the strategy and build actionable, insightled ANZ growth plans 

  • Deliver strategy working with local & global marketing on demand creation & ANZ sales teams to unlock sales results 

  • Work closely with global teams to shape the innovation pipeline for 2026 and beyond using Australian consumer, shopper, and category insights

Customer, Category & Shopper Insight 

  • Support the CSP Lead with customer and category insights to shape strategy, pricing and range review outcomes

  • Act as the shopper marketing lead to deliver bestinclass instore activations and retailerspecific campaigns

  • Generate standardised monthly category reporting and collaborate with Sales to deliver insightled retailer conversations

  • Partner with Sales teams to bring insightled recommendations to retailers

Brand & Marketing  

  • Ensure flawless planning and execution of media activities, partnering with the global team on asset creation and localisation

  • Redefine the ANZ influencer strategy to ensure alwayson, culturally relevant, creatorled content

  • Explore and shape ambassador opportunities, collaborations and retailer partnerships, that align with Wild’s purpose and consumer base

Operational & Commercial Excellence 

  • Partner with global supply chain and procurement to unlock efficiencies and deliver a strong fuel for growth pipeline

 

Key Requirements 

Experience 

  • Commercial experience, ideally cross functional with customer facing and category exposure

  • Proven track record in FMCG or similar fast paced retail environments

  • Strong experience in analysis, insights, and datadriven storytelling 

    Core Skills 

    • Go to Market Strategy: Generates objective brand, channel, category and shopper insights. Translates data into strategic recommendations that reflect the Wild ANZ consumer

    • Data Literacy & Storytelling: Uses analytics to form compelling narratives and drive decisions

    • Integrated Media and Shopper Excellence: Ensures flawless delivery across media, shopper, PR, influencer, and instore execution

    • Commercial Strategy: Evaluates investment allocation and shared value opportunities
