As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help expand our presence across the Australian commercial property market.

About the Role

As our Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving new business growth across Australia.

You'll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying opportunities through to negotiation and close, while building strong relationships with commercial property management businesses. Using a consultative sales approach, you'll understand each client's challenges and demonstrate how Rex Cirrus8 can deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Working closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success and Technical teams, you'll contribute to our continued growth while helping shape our sales strategy and customer experience.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Business Development

  • Generate new business opportunities within the Australian commercial property management market.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and close.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to grow market share.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using HubSpot.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the Rex Cirrus8 product suite.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer needs and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.

Relationship Management

  • Build trusted relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Engage confidently with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Onboarding teams to ensure a seamless transition for new clients.

Product Demonstrations

  • Become a product expert across the Rex Cirrus8 platform.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations that address each customer's business needs.
  • Position our solutions by understanding customer challenges and aligning them with business outcomes.

Market & Sales Strategy

  • Gather customer feedback and market insights to support product development and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas that improve sales processes, customer experience and commercial performance.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and sales forecasting within HubSpot.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success and Technical teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Share market intelligence and customer insights to support broader business initiatives.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.

About You

You'll be a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, uncovering opportunities and delivering results.

You'll bring:

  • 5+ years' experience in business development or B2B sales within SaaS, technology or PropTech.
  • A proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Experience engaging with senior decision-makers and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Experience selling software solutions into commercial property or the broader property industry (highly regarded).
  • Experience using CRM platforms, ideally HubSpot.
  • Experience selling within a competitive displacement environment (highly regarded).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or a related field (preferred).
