What you’ll be doing

Our ANZ Business Development Representative will lead the early-stage relationships with prospective customers. This position offers the opportunity for exposure to all facets of Sales and Marketing, with multiple layers of partnership across organizations, and endless career growth opportunities across the company. This role can be based in Singapore or Sydney.

In this position you’ll report to the APAC BDR Manager that is based in Singapore.

You will be responsible for…

  • Managing inbound leads as well as executing outbound prospecting initiatives
  • Conducting discovery conversations with prospective customers, as well as target accounts
  • Having a strong work ethic: research, preparation, documentation, and tracking / reviewing performance are key to success
  • Building trusting and growth-focused relationships internally across your team and partners
  • Collaborating with Marketing to drive ROI on activities e.g. events, digital marketing, etc.
  • Collaborating with Sales to develop targeted marketing tactics against your target accounts.

What we need from you

  • Ability to work a hybrid model, working from our Sydney or Singapore office 3 days per week.
  • Available to work full time, 5 days per week, Monday to Friday (3 days in office, 2 days from home).
  • Based in Sydney or Singapore

What skills & experience you’ll bring to us

  • 2+ Years work experience in a professional environment
  • Previous industry experience in Business Development or Sales, especially in the SaaS industry
  • Demonstrable strength in English Language: Business level
  • Good understanding of C-suite personas and have targeted enterprise accounts
  • Experience working in a professional office environment.
  • Knowledge of sales methodology (e.g. MEDDPICC or similar).

Preferred additional skills

  • Proficient in using Salesforce and Salesloft (or similar products)
  • Outbound experience is a plus
