We’re looking for a Business Development Specialist to join our Vocera team in Sydney, NSW.

In this role, you’ll focus on acquiring new business in the small/independent aged care market, helping us expand our impact in this important sector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of sales experience who is proactive, enjoys the thrill of hunting new business, and is looking for a role where they can work autonomously while developing within a global leader in medical technology.

Key Focus Areas

Customer Identification & Acquisition: Strategically target the small/independent aged care market, initiate meaningful engagements, and convert leads into customers.

Market Expansion: Develop Vocera’s footprint in new verticals beyond healthcare, such as hotels, universities, retail, and mining.

Value Delivery: Work closely with the presales team to uncover customer needs, tailor solutions, and clearly articulate the tangible value Vocera offers.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare or technology
  • A proactive and autonomous approach to finding and developing new business opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and relationships
  • Motivated and results-driven, with a desire to learn and grow in your career
  • Excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
  • A passion for improving healthcare and supporting the needs of our customers
