What the role is all about 

The Business Development Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining a strong top‑of‑funnel pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective real estate agencies. This role is focused exclusively on outbound prospecting and meeting setting, enabling the sales team to focus on deal execution and revenue delivery.

Outbound Prospecting

  • Conduct high‑volume outbound outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn) to targeted real estate agencies
  • Research and identify prospective offices aligned to our ideal customer profile
  • Maintain consistent daily activity levels to support pipeline targets
  • Meeting Setting & Qualification
  • Qualify prospects against agreed criteria before booking meetings
  • Book qualified meetings directly into sales calendars
  • Ensure accurate capture of prospect context, needs, and intent to support strong handover

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in CRM
  • Track outreach activity, responses, and meeting outcomes
  • Ensure data quality to support reporting and forecasting

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales to refine targeting, messaging, and qualification standards
  • Participate in regular pipeline and feedback sessions to continuously improve lead quality

What This Role Is Not

  • No deal ownership or closing responsibility
  • No forecasting or revenue target
  • No territory ownership or account management

Who we’re looking for 

  • Experience in outbound lead generation, SDR, or BDR roles
  • Strong phone‑based prospecting capability
  • Ability to manage high‑volume outreach with discipline and resilience
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience selling into real estate, proptech, SaaS, or B2B services
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Comfort working with scripts, cadences, and performance metrics
