Partner with the business on business reviews, forecasting and strategic decisions:

  • Be strong Insights & Analytics Business Partner to key business functions, ensuring a solid, data driven understanding of the business development activities and their impact.
  • Responsible for developing short and long range patient/epi forecasts, developing case scenarios, assumptions based on insights; support key business processes such as Business Planning, regular Forecast cycles, Customer Planning.
  • Proactively drive and strengthen the forecasting process at local level, applying efficient methodologies using latest technology to drive robust and aligned forecasts.
  • Drive the therapy area strategic insight processes, such as performance tracking, quarterly business reviews and competitive intelligence collation. To do this via rigorous assessment and diagnosis of brand and market performance, presenting insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and ensure key performance indicators are in place for brands to ensure learning loops and insights gathering.
  • Develop guidance and documentation to foster best practices sharing to drive strong insights and analytics processes and initiatives at affiliate level.
  • Execute projects with key stakeholders, can be both data analytics improvement projects or insight/execution projects with key stakeholders in Medical, Operations, OCE, Marketing, or others.

Support field force execution and excellence:

  • Support sustainable field force sizing, allocation, and deployment in collaboration with GOSO.
  • Be accountable for driving the target setting processes and ensure timely and accurate quarterly targets are in place.
  • Be responsible for end-to-end incentive process (design to calculation) in collaboration with GOSO

Partner with regional and global counterparts

  • Take part in knowledge sharing, bringing best practices to Australia across insights, analytics, data modernisation, and visualisation.
  • From time to time, provide support to other NAPAC affiliates on dedicated projects relating to standardisation and/or launch excellence.

Qualifications

  • Min. 7 years relevant experience within analytics, data science.
  • A deep understanding of pharma/biotech data, and which source to leverage in order to answer business questions most effectively.
  • Excellent strategic thinking capabilities with ability to synthesize large amounts of information and logically structure deliverables in a visual manner.
  • Highly collaborative – must be able to navigate and manage the needs of multiple stakeholders and take guidance and direction from peers and Senior Leadership.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly executive presentation skills.
  • B.S. in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Life Sciences or related degree preferred
