Job Description
This is a rare and high-profile opportunity to work alongside our Chief Executive – Individual Life, providing strategic support and driving key initiatives that shape the future of our business. As a trusted advisor and operational partner, you’ll play a central role in leading critical priorities, including the implementation of the Individual Life FAR business plan. Ideal for a driven self-starter who thrives in complexity, this role is a proven pathway to senior leadership at TAL.
In this role you will:
- Act as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the Chief Executive – Individual Life, supporting decision-making and business priorities.
- Lead the execution and operationalisation of the Individual Life FAR (Financial Accountability Regime) business plan.
- Manage executive workflow, communications, and priorities to enable effective leadership and delivery across the division.
- Translate strategic vision into actionable plans, collaborating closely with Individual Life GMs and the Finance function.
- Support business planning and performance initiatives that drive long-term success for the Individual Life portfolio.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic qualifications, preferably an MBA, and/or equivalent professional qualifications and experience.
- Strong conceptual understanding of economic/accounting principles and business management practices.
- High-level analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively support business planning and decision-making.
- Working knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly life insurance, to drive strategy and business outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to navigate company procedures and guidelines across TAL.
