About the role
As the Business Manager (Training Business) at BSI Group ANZ Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of the company's training division. Reporting to the leadership team, this full-time position is based in our Sydney office and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and operational excellence of this key business unit.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive business plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets for the training division
  • Overseeing all aspects of the training business, including sales, marketing, client relations, course delivery, and financial management
  • Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the training portfolio to meet evolving market demands
  • Monitoring performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimisation
  • Leading and mentoring a team of training professionals to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to align the training business with the broader strategic objectives of BSI Group ANZ
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies

What we're looking for

  • Substantial experience (8+ years) in a senior management role within the training or professional services industry
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a training or consulting business unit
  • Excellent business acumen and financial management skills, with the ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities, with the ability to develop and implement innovative business strategies
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the organisation
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, or a related field are highly desirable
