About the Role (your why)

The Business Operations Consultant is responsible for performing and implementing process improvement initiatives across Business Operations to deliver best practices for the Datacom Business.

This role with be based in our Sydney office. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best!

What you’ll do

At the moment, as Business Operations Consultant you will be focused on:

  • Facilitating and participating in cross-functional project teams.
  • Developing metrics that provide data for process measurement and identify indicators for future improvement opportunities.
  • Collecting data to identify root cause of problems and analyse best practices for techniques and processes.
  • Measuring performance against process requirements. Aligning improvement initiatives to performance shortfalls.
  • Providing consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
  • May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
  • Performing cost and benefit analysis.
  • Analytical tasks including data ingestion, data analysis, data automation and data management.
  • Communication of data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences

What you’ll bring

Required experience:

  • Strong experience in Power BI and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent written and oral communication

Nice to have:

  • Experience in SQL, Python and/or Power Automate
  • Experience in Salesforce reporting
  • Prior experience in an IT Customer Support role, preferably in licensing
