A Day in the LifeAn exciting opportunity within our Service & Repair function for a Business Process Project Management Specialist based in our facility in Huntingwood, Sydney. As a Business Process Project Management Specialist, you will join the Global Service & Repair Regional Readiness team under our Service Product Lifecycle Centre of Excellence (PLC CoE). You will work in a dynamic team with project and program managers across Americas, Europe and Asia and support Medtronic capital equipment through the lifecycle – from product launch, products changes to end of life equipment. Flexibility, agility, and a passion to deliver winning outcomes in collaboration with cross functional and regional teams will be instrumental in being successful in this role.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Leads or leverages cross functional teams to ensure smooth release of new products in the regions ensuring Service Delivery teams have:

Service documentation
-
Test tools & equipment
-
Technical training
-
Spare parts
-
Loaners & exchanges
-
IT systems set up
-
Service processes aligned at product launch
-

Monitors the project from initiation through delivery
-
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports

Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

Works with Product Lifecycle PMO to influence OU service strategy by aligning with service team members on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects to ensure regional needs are considered

Works with regional service operations leaders and service commercial CoE to give pipeline visibility and ensure projects are resourced

Participates in obsolescence processes as needed

Proactively communicates relevant information for serviceable products to relevant regional stakeholders, including Field Corrective Actions (FCAs), upgrades etc.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
-
A bachelor’s degree
-
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
-
Willingness to work with global partners which may result in adjusted work schedule

Ability to build trust across borders
-
Experience working globally; understanding that regions have unique needs
-
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification would be a plus
-
Medical Device experience would be a plus
-
Capital equipment service repair experience would be an advantage
