Mission
Responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of CASE Business Unit as part of the Industrial Chemicals portfolio.
Main Responsibilities:
To work with Account & Industry Managers to develop and implement Business Plans for the industries they are responsible for within Industrial Chemical portfolio. These Target Markets are Surface Coatings, Construction, Adhesives and Elastomers/Sealants.
The business plans will outline the strategies to be used to achieve the agreed goals and objectives including budgets and Target incorporating the concepts provided within the Azelis Industries Strategic plan.
To effectively manage, lead and develop all direct and indirect reports to achieve a performance-oriented team environment with high levels of motivation and job satisfaction. To take a progressive view of longer-term human resource requirements and make proposals based on future need and value added.
To maintain high level strategic relationships with all principals and suppliers assigned or active within the industries of responsibility and work to achieve their objectives in relation to sales and promotions within the market place.
To maintain strong customer relations, ensure a high level of technical support is provided and take on key account management responsibilities for selected customers.
To constantly seek and develop business opportunities in the form of new markets, customers, products and principals.
To manage an efficient stockholding and ensure a high level of service to customers whilst avoiding excess capital investment and minimising old or redundant stock.
To conduct frequent (monthly) reviews of the industries of responsibility, provide monthly reporting on goal achievement, customer and industry developments, principal activities, projects planned or underway and future expectations.
Actively communicate with Supply Chain to ensure the most accurate forecasting is provided to ensure a stable supply and stocking plan.
To utilise fully, the business analysis and reporting tools such as CRM in our information system and ensure all reports are doing the same. This will require a visible schedule of Industry/ Account Manager contact with customers and principals via call reports within the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).
Ensure all company policies and values are upheld in their entirety and to ensure that the business is represented both professionally and ethically in all dealings both internal and external.
Follow the Responsible Care programme adopted by Azelis to achieve continuous improvement in the areas of safety, health and environmental management.

Qualification & Skills
7 + years’ experience in CASE industry, i.e. in technical or in commercial role;
Technical background (bachelor/ master degree).
Proven ability to manage teams
Self-motivated to start up new initiatives to generate more sales;
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills;
Creative to develop new means to generate interest and fill the sales pipeline;
The ability to adapt to new requirements and have a flexible approach;
Highly organized and able to meet principal expectations
Confident in interacting at all levels within the business – from R&D to commercial and senior management;
The drive to challenge yourself personally and develop new skills;
The ability to think commercially and deliver results;
