Company Description

In 1992, Aussie was born - taking on the big banks, bringing competition to the home lending industry, and revolutionising the Australian mortgage market forever. In 2021, we merged with digital challenger Lendi, and formed form Lendi Group. This union is a match made in heaven, because both brands were born as disruptors, driven by a desire to see things done differently for customers and brokers alike. Since the day we came together, we’ve been dedicated to changing the way Australians experience property lending - for good.

Today, Aussie is the industry’s #1 brokerage, but this is just the beginning. We’re a brand on a high growth trajectory, using our human-led, tech-superpowered approach to help Australians achieve their property dreams, while supporting our brokers and team members to build successful careers in the process.

Job Description

We’ve already helped countless Australians on their way to home ownership, but now we’re setting our sights on something bigger! We have a vision to become the undisputed destination for Australians to buy and own property, so we’re scaling our approach beyond mortgage broking and expanding into the provision of a Buyer’s Agent service. With this diversified offering, we’re intent on building lifelong relationships with customers and owning the property journey end-to-end.

A unique opportunity exists to lead our inaugural Buyer’s Agent team as Manager of Buyer's Agents. With a customer base of 4.5 million, a trusted national brand, and advanced technology, Aussie is well-positioned to lead in this rapidly growing field. We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Buyer's Agent Manager to play a pioneering role in revolutionising how Australians find, finance, and purchase property.

As the Buyer's Agent Manager, you’ll lead a dynamic and experienced team of Buyer's Agents, empowering them to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive operational excellence. Supported by industry-leading data, technology, and processes, your team will guide customers through their property journey, achieving a higher rate of successful exchanges than industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop Team: Drive operational excellence, coach and train Buyer's Agents, and actively participate in recruitment to scale the team and meet ambitious goals.
  • Achieve Performance Targets: Ensure the team consistently meets weekly and monthly targets, driving Aussie Homes Buying's operational and commercial objectives.
  • Enhance Customer Experience: Implement strategies to maximise customer satisfaction and successful property exchanges, leveraging industry-leading data, technology, and processes.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with leadership to refine processes, boost productivity, and elevate team performance. Provide state- and suburb-specific insights to enhance the team's market expertise.
  • Foster Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with internal and external partners, including Broker Operations, Sales, Property Analysts, and other relevant stakeholders to optimise resources and productivity.
  • Optimise Platform Utilisation: Encourage and monitor the team's use of the Lendi Platform to enhance customer experience and achieve optimal results.

Qualifications

To get amongst the action as a Buyer’s Agent Manager, you will:

  • have a proven track record of successfully managing and scaling high-performing teams of Buyer’s Agents
  • have a valid Class 1 or Class 2 Real Estate Licence.
  • bring strong industry knowledge and the ability to train and mentor a team in real estate best practices.
  • be proficient in using data to drive decision-making in a target-focused sales environment.
  • thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting, with the ability to lead your team through rapid change.
  • be a natural leader who motivates the team to exceed monthly targets, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and champion a collaborative, inclusive culture.
  • be committed to transparency, team unity, and creating a supportive, collaborative environment within the leadership group.

If you’re passionate about real estate, helping people to achieve their property dreams, and want to partner with Aussie we shake up the Australian property landscape, then we’d love to hear from you.
