Our Customer Development team plays a key role in how we connect with customers across the Retail Bank — delivering timely, relevant and personalised communications that add real value. As expectations evolve, we’re investing in smarter data, deeper insights and richer automation to create more dynamic engagement across mobile, email, SMS and digital channels.

Working in a collaborative Agile environment, we partner with Product, Digital, Marketing, Data and Operations to design experiences that inform, support and empower millions of customers. From ensuring customers stay safe and compliant to driving stronger engagement with our products and propositions, we’re at the centre of delivering communications that matter.

As we scale, we’re opening two key roles as Campaign Data Analyst that will help lift both customer and commercial outcomes, with opportunities to influence how we communicate, automate and optimise across journeys.

While both roles contribute to high‑quality, data‑driven communications, each has a distinct focus:

  • Campaign & Regulatory Communications Analyst — centred on accuracy, risk management and clarity, ensuring regulatory requirements are met while keeping customers informed and compliant.
  • Campaign Performance & Automation Analyst — focused on optimisation, commercial uplift and scaling automation, using insights and experimentation to lift engagement and outcomes.

When applying, please include a short cover letter and tell us which role you’re most interested in, along with the value you can add from day one.

What you’ll do

  • Design, deliver and optimise data‑driven communications across mobile, email, SMS and digital channels.
  • Manage structured workflows end‑to‑end, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely execution.
  • Use insights, targeting and experimentation to improve customer experience and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Product, Digital, Marketing, Data, Risk and Operations teams to deliver high‑impact initiatives.
  • Continuously enhance processes through automation, testing, and standardisation.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in customer communications, campaign delivery, automation or regulatory/KYC environments.
  • Proven SQL knowledge and Unica campaign‑build skills are essential.
  • Exceptional analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, validate accuracy and simplify complexity.
  • High attention to detail and comfort working within structured processes and quality frameworks.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate in Agile teams.
  • Curious, proactive problem solver who continuously looks for ways to improve, iterate and deliver value.

What’s in it for you?

  • Discounted ING Health Insurance
  • An additional Rest Day to support your wellbeing
  • An IMPACT day to volunteer on approved sustainability activity
