Our Campus Recruitment team plays a vital role in finding and engaging these unique minds, ensuring they thrive within our high-performance environment.

We’re looking for a Campus Recruiter to join our collaborative and high-achieving team. In this role, you’ll help identify and attract Australia and New Zealand’s brightest students for our intern, graduate, and early career opportunities. From shaping attraction strategies to delivering exceptional candidate experiences, your work will have a direct impact on our future success.

What you’ll do

As a Campus Recruiter, you’ll work alongside a passionate team of specialists, focusing on key areas that contribute to the team’s goals. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the full lifecycle of campus recruitment: from event planning to candidate selection.
  • Play a key role in the interview process, assessing candidates and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Partnering and collaboration with key stakeholders across the business and APAC region to understand hiring needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Helping drive our campus attraction strategy—bringing your ideas, creativity and perspective to the table.
  • Building strong relationships with universities and student societies across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Developing a deep understanding of behavioural competencies and applying them during high-volume assessment periods.
  • Continuously improving operational processes and identifying new opportunities to attract exceptional talent.

What you’ll get

You’ll join a culture of collaboration and excellence, where you’ll be surrounded by curious thinkers and creative problem solvers. Driven by a passion for continuous improvement, you’ll thrive in a supportive, high-performing environment alongside talented colleagues, working collectively to tackle the most complex problems in the financial markets.

In return for your expertise, you’ll receive a range of benefits, including:

  • A performance-based bonus structure unmatched anywhere in the industry. We combine our profits across desks, teams and offices into a global profit pool, fostering a truly collaborative environment.
  • Daily breakfast, lunch, and an in-house barista.
  • Gym membership, plus weekly chair massages.
  • Continuous learning, development and upskilling opportunities.
  • Regular social events, including a company trip every two years.
  • A fun, fast-paced team that loves what they do.

Who you are

  • 1-2 years' experience in early-careers recruitment (agency or in-house).
  • An excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised with exceptional coordination and attention to detail.
  • A team player who thrives in a high-performance, collaborative environment.
  • Curious, solutions-focused and excited by the opportunity to improve and innovate.
  • Comfortable taking ownership and driving initiatives with measurable impact.
  • Eager to learn, grow, and help shape the future of Early Careers at Optiver.
