How you will contribute
Reporting to the Capital Engineering Manager, the Capital Project Engineer will lead and execute critical capital projects. This involves:
  • Successfully scoping, designing, and implementing upgrades, expansions, and new installations.
  • Managing multiple capital project executions concurrently.
  • Ensuring all project development and execution adheres to local and Mondelēz standards and expectations.

What you will bring
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 5-10 years of industry experience (food industry experience preferred).
  • Technical expertise across multiple engineering disciplines, with specific expertise in one or more of the following: automation, site/building services, industrial energy efficiency, conveying and palletizing, high-speed packaging, hazardous area dust controls, Electrical Power Systems, Process Knowledge (Food Manufacturing), CIP.
  • Proven experience in contractor management.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement principles (e.g., TPS).
  • Significant project engineering and design experience.
  • Experience in people management, leadership, and development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in strategic prioritization.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.
  • SAP proficiency (highly desired).
