What your typical day will look like

As the new Client Manager at Carat, you’ll take ownership of client management, channel planning and project manage campaigns from beginning to end. This does include managing a small team to ensure media campaigns run smoothly and to plan across both traditional and digital media spaces in a fast-paced environment.

Core responsibilities

  • Take lead on cultivating and growing proactive and positive working relationship with our clients, agency partners and suppliers, and broader media teams within dentsu.
  • Take ownership of all media channel planning activities, both offline and digital, for your client portfolio.
  • Quality control/review and support the team with media campaign setup and activations best practices, campaign reporting, research and insights, preparing and delivering client presentations, and supporting any other ad hoc requests from the client.
  • Reporting and analysis of performance, and optimising campaigns against KPIs to ensure alignment to achieving client objectives alongside our suppliers.
  • Maintain and share your knowledge across the latest market developments within the media and advertising industry, related platforms, best practices and tools across the Australian media landscape.
  • Having financial responsibility for client budgets, owning budget trackers and maintaining overall financial acumen of campaigns
  • Assist in people management tasks, including recruitment, performance reviews, training and onboarding as needed.
  • Continuously develop your learning and understanding of the evolving AU and global media and advertising landscape across all channels, tools and platforms.

A bit about you

  • Good knowledge of the Australian media and advertising marketplace and experience in media planning across both digital and traditional media channels.
  • A proactive communicator with strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
  • A demonstrated business acumen teamed with a knack for data and ability to grasp numerical and mathematical concepts to make data driven insights and recommendations.
  • A growing leadership skillset, a willingness to learn and impart knowledge to lift the overall capability of the team.
  • Tech and data savvy, a practical thinker with ability to work with a high volume of numbers and a natural flare for problem solving.
  • A good eye for detail and commercially savvy, able to translate ideas into business value for our clients.
