The opportunity

We are seeking a Case Manager to join our Workers’ Compensation Self-Insurance team based in Parramatta. As a Case Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the end-to-end claims process, delivering a high-quality experience for injured workers and supporting their safe and timely return to work.

Your new role

  • Manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims from end-to-end, ensuring timely and effective outcomes for injured workers and the business.

  • Apply your knowledge of self-insurance legislation to assess liability, coordinate treatment, and facilitate sustainable return-to-work plans.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, treating practitioners, and external providers to drive proactive claims management.

  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in line with regulatory and audit requirements.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.

  • Work within a supportive team environment that values expertise, collaboration, and professional development.

About you

  • Previous experience in insurance and workers compensation, with a sound understanding of relevant legislation and claims processes.

  • Strong influencing capabilities, complemented by well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

  • A customer-centric mindset focused on achieving optimal outcomes for injured workers and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated resilience in managing complex and challenging scenarios.

  • Effective time management skills and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn within a dynamic and collaborative team setting.
