The Opportunity 

This is an exciting opportunity to join us at QBE during a growth phase in our NSW workers compensation division in our Nominal Insurer business.

As a case manager you will have the opportunity to do your best work as you take on responsibilities for the end-to-end management of claims under the NSW Workers Compensation scheme. You will assist injured workers with their injury management and return to work plans whilst maintaining relationships built on trust with all stakeholders involved.

Your new role  

  • The role of a Case Manager will see you return people to health and work with empathy, expertise and act as the key point of contact for stakeholders, including injured workers, their employers, doctors, and other medical professionals. 

  • The goal is to seek the best possible outcome for all parties involved, whilst supporting them through what is often an emotionally challenging time.

  • Managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims in line with scheme regulation, you will be empowered to take a holistic case management approach to provide positive customer connections. 

  • Effectively set expectations, communicate and educate injured workers and their employers 

  • Work in partnership with the injured worker and their employer to manage their journey in returning to work 

  • Ensure timeframes and compliance measures are adhered to in line with legislation and company policy
