Imagine being the person who keeps a global trading platform running smoothly. As our CFD Business Operations Analyst, you'll work at the operational heart of CMC Markets, where your decisions and actions directly impact thousands of traders every day.

This role offers something rare: genuine exposure to every part of the business. You'll work alongside traders, risk teams, IT specialists, client services, and institutional partners. Within months, you'll understand how corporate actions ripple through systems, how hedge positions are reconciled with counterparties, and how platform outages get resolved under pressure.

What you’ll be working on

Your day-to-day work will keep you at the centre of the action. You'll reconcile hedge trading accounts with Prime Brokers and Futures Clearers, tracking down discrepancies and working with trading teams to resolve them. When corporate actions happen, you'll process them and ensure customers are informed and systems are updated accurately.

You'll handle the complex queries that front-line teams can't resolve, digging into system data and account histories to find answers. Monitoring financing and cost-of-carry rates means you're constantly checking that customers are charged fairly.

Platform outages and pricing issues will land on your desk for escalation and coordination. You'll be the communication hub, keeping trading, IT, and client services aligned. You’ll also maintain the product lists and reference data that power our trading platforms. Essential work that keeps everything functioning smoothly.

Please note: This is a shift-based role where you'll work Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 6:00pm, including public holidays. This structure ensures our global trading platforms receive continuous support across all trading hours.

What will help you be successful?

You'll be successful in this role if you're competent in Excel and Word, with strong knowledge of financial markets and corporate actions.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, combined with logical thinking, will help you resolve discrepancies, system issues, and operational queries efficiently. Good time management and prioritisation are essential when multiple demands compete for your attention. A strong customer focus will guide your decisions, and you'll thrive in a collaborative team environment.
