  • Permanent full-time position based in Mascot, Sydney

Reporting to the Head of Programs and Performance – Flight Operations, the Change Manager, Flight Operations will lead change management support across key programs and initiatives spanning people, process, technology, systems, safety and operational outcomes. The role ensures that change is understood, adopted and embedded so that our people and the business are ready, willing and able to transition effectively into new ways of working.

Working closely with project teams and impacted business areas, the Change Manager, Flight Operations will drive leadership alignment, stakeholder engagement, change impact assessment, strategy and planning, readiness, and delivery. The role may support a major transformation program or a portfolio of smaller initiatives, depending on business need.

Success in this role requires bringing stakeholders on the journey from the outset — building alignment on the strategic intent, guiding them through the change process, and ensuring a smooth handover into BAU operations.

  • Strong track record delivering impactful change across significant transformation initiatives.
  • Exceptional relationship‑building skills, with the ability to engage confidently across all levels and adapt to diverse viewpoints, styles and cultures.
  • Self‑driven and proactive, with the resilience to navigate ambiguity and complexity using a pragmatic, solution‑focused approach.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing capability, able to shift mindsets and manage even the most resistant stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long‑term vision with day‑to‑day delivery.
  • Experience working with modern methodologies such as design thinking, Lean and Agile.
