    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

    Your Role: Reporting to the Director – Channel Sales, the Channel Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of channel partner engagement. This role is responsible for leading strategic initiatives that accelerate partner growth, expand NEXTGEN’s share of wallet within an assigned partner portfolio, and strengthen and deepen key partner relationships. It requires a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities across NEXTGEN’s full vendor portfolio.

    This role demands a customer-centric mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for driving results in a collaborative team setting.

    As the Channel Development Manager, you will:

    • Partner Relations: You'll be the bridge between our vendors and our customers, responsible for executing growth objectives and influencing internal stakeholders for results.
    • Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with key partner and vendor decision-makers. Networking and interpersonal skills are essential.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams like Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Senior Executives to achieve our goals.
    • Sales Quotas: Achieve quarterly vendor sales quotas and collaborate with your manager on strategies for success.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

    The ideal Channel Development Manager:

    • Experience Matters: You should have 4-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a channel environment.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication is a must.
    • Customer-Centric Mindset: Put the customer first and have the business instinct and negotiation skills to match.
    • ANZ Channel Knowledge: Experience in the ANZ ICT channel industry is highly advantageous.

    • Autonomous and Adaptable: You're a self-starter who can work autonomously and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
