We are seeking an experienced and motivated Channel Partner Manager to join our team in Tokyo as part of our strategic expansion in Japan. This role will be instrumental in growing Monday.com’s partner ecosystem by onboarding, developing and managing relationships with Cloud Native partners, Distributors, and Tier 2 resellers.
You will be responsible for building scalable go-to-market strategies, enabling partner success across our solution portfolio, and accelerating partner-led services development. A key focus will be on expanding through distribution channels and enabling broad reach through net new partners with proven experience working with SaaS solutions.
This is a highly collaborative, cross-functional role, requiring strong business acumen, a strategic mindset, and the ability to influence at all levels of the partner and internal organization.
About The Role
- Manage the Distribution partnership, working closely to onboard and scale to Cloud Native partners who have experience in SaaS solutions.
- Build and execute joint business plan with your distributor focused on:
- Scale strategy, targeting SaaS cloud native partners
- Pipeline generation
- Solution enablement and competency
- Services capability development
- Expansion across multiple product solutions
- Work closely with your distributor to guide and support recruitment, onboarding, and enablement.
- Increase partner readiness and capacity to resell and deliver Monday.com solutions.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team and partners to drive joint marketing initiatives (e.g., webinars, whitepapers, campaigns).
- Partner with internal teams to support the development of partner-led services and apps aligned with customer needs and GTM strategy.
- Maintain and report an accurate partner activity and deals pipeline forecast.
- Conduct regular QBRs and executive-level cadences with partners to track progress and refine strategy.
- Willingness to travel as required to partner/customer offices
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development, ideally within a cloud or SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated success working with distribution and/or cloud native partners with expertise in selling SaaS solutions.
- Strong understanding of partner business models, KPIs, and GTM frameworks in the Japanese channel ecosystem.
- Native-level Japanese speaker with business-level English proficiency.
- Proven ability to build trust and influence at the executive level, both internally and externally.
- Strong execution and organizational skills; able to manage multiple initiatives and partnerships simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset with a track record of cross-functional leadership.
Preferred experince:
- Prior experience working with Japanese distributors (e.g., SB C&S, Daiwabo, Networld) and enabling reseller networks.
- Familiarity with the Cloud Native ecosystem, including platforms, or SaaS marketplaces.
- Experience designing or delivering partner enablement and training programs.
- Background in scaling partner-led services practices or industry-specific solution offerings.
