The SME & Growth Business team at Airwallex is a passionate group of collaborators and business champions dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to thrive in the global economy. We combine deep financial expertise with a growth mindset, working closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions that streamline cross-border payments and unlock new revenue streams. The Channel Partnerships team in Australia is responsible for expanding Airwallex’s partner relationships, specifically across three core industries: Accounting, Start-Ups & e-commerce. Airwallex’s partner relationships drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, as well as various forms of product integrations and co-marketing opportunities. We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Channel Partnerships Manager to support the ANZ Channel Partnerships team. This role will support both strategy and execution of partnerships in ANZ.  Our partners range from service providers in the Business Advisory, Corporate Secretarial, Accounting, Agency, System Integrator, and Media space. There is also room to broaden the industries in which we engage with partners based on your creativity! 

What you'll do

  • Acquire and manage relationships with Airwallex ambassadors and strategic partners, within various industries 

  • Manage all processes for acquiring and managing Airwallex partnerships including;  prospecting, meetings, contracting, onboarding, and ongoing management/ activation of the partner and support to referrals

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams within Airwallex, including sales, legal, strategy, operations, and finance where required to deliver a seamless experience for our partners

  • Maintain ongoing engagement with partners to build a long-lasting relationship

  • Constantly ideate and experiment with new go-to-market ideas to further build and scale the Airwallex partner network

This role is based in Sydney.

Minimum requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in partnership, sales, marketing, or business development

  • You have existing relationships / strong network with referral partners in various industries to support a faster ramp of referrals 

  • Excellent written, verbal, and in-person communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with experience with tools including Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
