About the role -

As the Chief of Staff you will work closely with the Executive Chairman and the wider Executive team to accelerate the execution of key strategic initiatives, drive operational excellence, and ensure the Executive Chairman’s time is focused on the highest value priorities. You will be a trusted advisor to the Executive Chairman, drive the strategic rhythm of the organisation, and act as a bridge across all LMG teams.

This role will be Sydney based.


Key Responsibilities -

  • Enhance and drive the organisational operating rhythm, design and manage the cadence of Board and Exco meetings, manage agendas and actions, ensuring timeliness and quality of papers, that actions are completed, and that decisions are documented
  • Prioritise and triage issues for the Executive Chairman and Exco to ensure key issues are being debated and decisions made
  • Manage the portfolio of key strategic projects, ensuring accountability and regular reporting is in place. Act as the lead on high impact, cross business unit projects
  • Working alongside the Group Executive Strategy, design the strategic roadmap, lead OKR setting and reporting, identify priorities that are off track and work as the Executive Chairman’s delegate to bring urgency and resolution to key issues
  • Enhance and prepare monthly Board reports on business performance
  • Development of materials and scripts for conference presentations, town halls, interviews, and external keynote and panel presentations
  • Preparation of briefing papers for Executive Chairman meetings
  • Working alongside the People & Culture team, drive engagement, performance uplift, and succession planning through building plans and driving execution of key initiatives

To succeed in this role you will bring with you -

  • Extensive experience in a Chief of Staff, Operations, Management Consulting, or similar broad role. Experience in financial services or FinTech is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills, proven ability to set a clear narrative and cascade messages across an organisation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or an MBA
  • Strong relationship skills, with an ability to build rapport with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Hungry but Humble, you are comfortable working behind the scenes to drive success
  • A desire to work in an office environment, alongside the Executive Chairman
