Our role within the Enterprise Tribe is to enable our strategy by building a simpler, more modern bank from front to back across Finance, Risk, Wholesale Banking and Customer solutions. This supports our strong growth agenda through the modernisation of core technologies, digitalisation of business processes and investment into new business.
We’re on the hunt for an experienced Product Owner, internally known as ‘Customer Journey Expert’, who is passionate about all things data and delivery to join our amazing team. This is a permanent role based in Sydney.
You’ll be at the forefront of our Finance transformation roadmap and will have the opportunity to deliver transformative data and technology solutions, which drive our decision-making and fulfil regulatory obligations.

What you’ll do

  • Working effectively in Agile teams using your technical expertise to contribute to all sprint events and participate in Chapter meetings, standard scrum events for the squad stand up, refinements, reviews and retrospectives
  • Customer journey optimisation & monitoring – you represent the voice of the customer, and will have a strong vision as to how to attract and retain customers and focus on continuously improving customer benefits
  • Products & services enhancements - formulate the business and product requirements for existing and new products and services
  • Strategy and policy - you will design strategy for products, channels, promotion, pricing, and product and process quality
  • Stakeholder management -you will represent the product or service to internal and external stakeholders

What we’re looking for

  • 5 + years’ experience in the fundamentals of at least one core pillar of CJE i.e. product management, process or channel optimisation or technical business analysis
  • Tertiary qualifications at bachelor’s degree or higher
  • You must have experience within a finance transformation environment in a financial services business, banking exposure preferred
  • Experience in a customer environment, where the customer needs are at the heart of the proposition development
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to guide key stakeholders through a change journey
