What your typical day will look like 

 

A Client Coordinator role is a great place to start your career in the media and advertising industry. Reporting to the Client Director, this role plays a key support role deliver on simple client requests and administrative tasks for the team. It will also enable you to build foundational knowledge of the fundamentals of business-to-business media planning and buying, providing exposure to best practices across a variety of industries and learn on the job.

 

 

This includes 

  • Establishing an effective working relationship with our clients, our agency partners and suppliers, and wider media teams we work with. 
  • Supporting the team with media campaign setup and activation, campaign reporting, research and insights, assist with planning and document preparation, and working with clients on any broader requests they might have.
  • Learning and applying entry level media maths and terminology, as well as the usage of media industry tools and technology to assist you. 
  • Provide support and guidance on campaign analysis and client engagements, relationships, presentations and reporting. 
  • General administration such as billing/invoicing and media reconciliations etc.
  • In addition to this, your work will allow you to build a strong understanding of the AU media and advertising landscape (we buy TV, radio, OOH, print, direct, programmatic, social & search – so you’ll get a great understanding of media!)

 

 

 

A bit about you 

  • A high attention to detail and naturally inquisitive.
  • Proactive communication, and able to engage with stakeholders and teams at all levels.
  • Highly organised and effective time management skills.
  • Collaborative and enjoys working as a part of a team.
  • Naturally curious - delivering great media work requires divergent thinking.
  • A problem solver that can take a step back and reviewing challenging briefs.
  • Can tell stories with data.
  • Builds strong internal and external relationships. 
  • Basic to mid-level experience with MS office suite, particularly Excel.
  • A natural enthusiasm and interest in the advertising and media industry, a keenness to keep up to date with industry developments, practices, and tools. 
  • A bachelor’s degree would be advantageous but not essential.
