Accenture currently has an exciting media opportunity in their Sydney office. The right candidate will join a fun and energetic team delivering a disruptive and new world media offering to market.
We are seeking an experienced and strategically minded Client Director to lead client relationships and drive excellence across integrated media campaigns. This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing high-profile accounts, overseeing cross-functional teams, and delivering outstanding results that align with client business objectives.
As a key agency partner, the Client Director plays a central role in shaping media strategy, ensuring flawless execution, and identifying opportunities for growth and innovation. You will be responsible for building trusted, long-term relationships with senior clients, unifying and managing a team, and ensuring operational excellence across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership
Act as the primary contact for key clients, fostering strong, collaborative partnerships.
Understand clients’ business objectives, challenges, and competitive landscapes to proactively shape strategic media solutions.
Ensure delivery of high-quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations and agency standards.
Strategic Oversight
Lead the development and presentation of integrated media strategies across all channels (TV, digital, OOH, audio, print, etc.).
Translate marketing goals into actionable media plans in collaboration with planning, investment, and data teams.
Champion innovation and ensure strategic thinking is embedded in all work.
Team Management
Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional client team, fostering professional development and high performance.
Ensure efficient collaboration across departments (planning, buying, digital, data & analytics, and creative).
Operational & Commercial Excellence
Oversee account management processes, ensuring effective workflow, budget control, and timely delivery of work.
Drive organic growth opportunities within existing accounts by identifying new projects, services, and capabilities.
Manage financial forecasting, reporting, and profitability of accounts under your remit.
Stakeholder Management
Develop strong internal and external relationships to support campaign success and agency growth.
Represent the agency at client meetings, pitches, and industry events as a senior strategic leader.
Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience in a media agency or related marketing/advertising environment, with at least 3 years in a senior client leadership role.
Proven experience managing large, complex client accounts and leading integrated media strategies.
Strong understanding of the media landscape across both offline and digital channels.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into impactful solutions.
Commercially savvy with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and account profitability.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
