In Australia, we’re building something powerful: one team with one ambition - to become the most potent media force in the market, known for bold thinking and standout work.

We think like challengers, act like owners, and are here to set a new standard.

We are looking for a Client Director responsible for managing day-to-day senior client relationships and overall team performance, with a deep familiarity in rolling out integrated media responses across a diverse range of categories, including regulated verticals.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Day to day leadership for dedicated client teams at dentsu
  • Managing multiple direct reports within the team, working with the Client Lead and owning development and progression of direct reports.
  • Work with the Client Lead to deliver end to end media strategy, channel planning, media ideation and best practice implementation.
  • Develop comprehensive and effective media responses with the right channel mix and budget allocation
  • Work closely with media partners, in particular those with major partnerships with the client
  • Maintain an intimate understanding of relevant client categories, supporting the lead with forecasting media billings and overseeing monthly invoicing processes.
  • Identify and contribute to organic revenue growth opportunities

Essential Experience

  • Comprehensive understanding of the Australian media marketplace
  • Deep agency experience with a focus on planning, key account management and best-practice implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple direct reports and client stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor
  • Established experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing a combination of major brief responses or reactive client requests.
  • Familiarity working and collaborating between in-house and agency teams, delivering integrated media responses
  • Deep familiarity working with channel selection, role of channel, budget phasing, block plan and high level budget bearings as part of past roles.

What’s in it for you:

  • Real flexibility to work when and where you feel most productive
  • The opportunity to give back with dedicated volunteer leave and our whole-company event, One Day for Change
  • 5 weeks annual leave after 2 years of service and 3 whole company Wellness days off per year for you to switch off and take your day, your way
  • Career Development and Learning & Development opportunities, including access to our global online dentsu University
