Job Description:

At dentsu, we drive growth that matters - for our people, our clients, and the industry. Inspired by Sanpo Yoshi, we’re focused on doing good for business, society, and each other.

In Australia, we’re building something powerful: one team with one ambition - to become the most potent media force in the market, known for bold thinking and standout work.

We don’t just work for our clients, we build with them. We challenge, partner, and create lasting, growth-driven relationships.

We think like challengers, act like owners, and are here to set a new standard.

We’ve just landed one of the most exciting new partnerships in market - working with a leading sports and entertainment brand that connects millions of Australians to sport, racing and digital experiences.

It’s a high-profile, fast-moving and career-defining account, where media, data and innovation come together to drive standout work

The Role

Step into the engine room of a major account, driving the media planning behind a high-profile mix of campaigns and sponsorships.

You’ll turn strategy into sharp, effective channel plans and media responses that are ready to land in market.

Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll keep the team on track, the work on point, and every deliverable clear, connected, and built to perform.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Own campaign delivery end to end, ensuring every brief, plan, and output lands sharp, accurate, and on time

  • Turn strategy into action, building smart implementation plans that cut through and perform in market

  • Take full control of the media plan, driving clarity, precision, and consistency across all deliverables

  • Keep the engine running by managing workflow, timelines, and processes with pace and discipline

  • Push for better every time, challenging thinking and raising the quality of planning output

  • Stay commercially switched on, supporting forecasting and owning the detail that keeps performance tight

  • Step up as a leader, coaching and guiding junior team members to lift capability and confidence

  • Build strong, influential relationships with partners to unlock smarter thinking and stronger outcomes

What You Will Bring:

  • 3+ years in agency with solid experience across planning, buying, and campaign delivery

  • The ability to translate strategy into clear, structured media plans with confidence and accuracy

  • A strong handle on the Australian media landscape and how to build plans that truly perform

  • A sharp eye for detail and a disciplined approach to getting the fundamentals right every time

  • Confidence managing stakeholders and building trusted, day-to-day relationships

  • A mindset geared towards improving how things get done, spotting smarter, more efficient ways of working

  • Comfort in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and pace is high

  • A sense of ownership and accountability, showing up ready to deliver and make an impact

What’s in it for you:

  • Real flexibility to work when and where you feel most productive

  • The opportunity to give back with dedicated volunteer leave and our whole-company event, One Day for Change

  • 5 weeks annual leave after 2 years of service and 3 whole company Wellness days off per year for you to switch off and take your day, your way

  • Career Development and Learning & Development opportunities, including access to our global online dentsu University

Become a champion for meaningful progress:

Our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so. For us, this is the foundation for great innovation which, in turn, generates better outcomes for our people, partners and communities. This is why we encourage applications from people with disabilities, and of all ages, nationalities, backgrounds and cultures.

If you want to belong to a one global network where opportunities are limitless – we look forward to welcoming you.
