The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Relationship Consultant to join our Clients & Sectors team in Australia. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne on a full-time or part-time basis. You will play a key role supporting one or more Client Relationship Managers in managing some of the firms most significant clients. You will work closely with the Client Relationship Managers and relevant Client Relationship Partners to deliver on the client’s requirements, identify opportunities, and come up with innovative ways to partner with the clients in your portfolio 

 

What you’ll do 

  • Support the CRM in implementing the growth strategy for a portfolio of clients, assisting with internal co-ordination and maintaining account plans, trackers and progress updates. 

  • Assist in delivering a structured approach to client management by monitoring objectives, maintaining accurate records of activity and helping to ensure accountability across multi-dimensional (products/region) client relationships. 

  • Co-ordinate and support the day-to-day operations of the client team, working alongside partners and lawyers to facilitate timely communication, manage follow-up on agreed actions and assist in the execution of the growth strategy. 

  • Support the development of high-quality bids and client-facing materials. 

  • Work closely with internal teams to compile information and deliver on client reporting requirements. 

  • Partner with Marketing, Communications and Events teams to deliver client-facing initiatives. 

  • This is a full-time or part-time permanent role based in either our Melbourne or Sydney office. We work flexibly in line with our Agile60 guidelines. 

 

What you’ll bring 

  • 3+ years' experience working within a professional services environment in a client-facing or business development support capacity, with exposure to client management and relationship building. 

  • Solid interpersonal skills, with a demonstrable ability to build effective working relationships with business services colleagues. 

  • Confidence in engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders, with a developing ability to navigate a partnership environment. 

  • Experience supporting or co-ordinating tenders, bids or pitches, including project management of associated workstreams and deadlines. 

  • Demonstrated organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. 

  • Commercial acumen, including the ability and confidence to contribute to the identification of opportunities, pitching, and pricing considerations for clients. 

  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. 

  • A degree in marketing, commerce, business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. 

  • An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.

Our Business Development team works alongside our partners and lawyers across our sectors, services and offices to support and develop our relationships with clients, delivering an exceptional service and exploring new avenues through which we can help them meet their business needs. Our brand, marketing and digital team help position us as thought leaders amongst our target markets in the areas we most want to be known for, by creating intuitive and engaging collateral, events and campaigns.  

 

As part of the business development team, you will play a hands-on role in contributing to the firm's success and helping to achieve its objectives.
