Join the InsideOut Institute at the University of Sydney and play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the future of digitally enabled mental health care. As the Clinical Product Manager - eClinic, and a senior clinician, you will provide strategic leadership for the Institute's innovative eClinic platform, driving its vision, roadmap and continuous evolution to improve access to evidence-based care for people experiencing eating disorders.

Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will bridge the worlds of clinical practice, research and digital innovation, translating clinical needs into impactful product strategies and service improvements. Leading a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with clinicians, researchers, people with lived experience and enabling teams to deliver safe, effective and person-centred digital health services while ensuring the platform operates within robust clinical governance and regulatory frameworks.

This is a unique opportunity for a senior clinician with extensive experience in clinical service delivery to influence the future of virtual healthcare, combining strategic product leadership, clinical expertise and service innovation to deliver meaningful outcomes for consumers, researchers and the broader health system.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Lead the strategic direction, roadmap and lifecycle of the eClinic, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, clinical governance requirements and stakeholder needs.

• Drive the continuous improvement of digital clinical services by applying clinical expertise, service design principles, leveraging data-driven insights and optimising patient and clinician experiences.

• Ensure the eClinic operates within established clinical governance, accreditation, privacy and regulatory frameworks, proactively managing risks and supporting safe, high-quality care.

• Partner with clinicians, researchers, people with lived experience and other stakeholders to co-design, develop and implement innovative digital therapies, clinical services and product enhancements.

• Support effective governance, business planning and decision-making through reporting, documentation, business cases, funding submissions and the evaluation of product and service outcomes.

• Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary eClinic team while fostering strong cross-functional collaboration across clinical, academic and professional staff to deliver strategic objectives.

About you

• Extensive experience in clinical services or healthcare delivery as a senior clinician, ideally in the mental health or eating disorders field.

• Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field (psychology, health, medicine, nursing, allied health, public health, health sciences or related discipline). Certifications in Project or Product management are highly desirable.

• Demonstrated clinical experience within a healthcare environment, with the ability to apply sound clinical judgement and deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

• Proven experience in product management and leading complex projects, using data and evidence to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and influence diverse internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong organisational, planning and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment.

• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing team performance, fostering capability development and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
