About the team .
This role reports to the Cold Stores & Inventory Manager and is a crucial member of the Ballarat Cold Store Leadership team. This role would suit someone looking at taking the next step in their people leadership career, or someone looking to begin a career in leadership with a global leader in food manufacturing.

- Leading a team of 24 forklift operators in conjunction with the Ballarat Cold Store Supervisor - AM
- Managing the inbound & outbound movement of raw materials and finished goods into the Ballarat Cold Store
- Managing the quality of the finished goods from the Manufacturing Plant
- Planning, leading and reconciling weekly/monthly/annual stock takes and cycle counting

About you .
Experience:
- People Leadership experience (or wanting to take the step into People Leadership!)
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- SAP & WMS experience
- Chain of Responsibility understanding and exposure
- Use of payroll systems
- Operational resource planning experience
- Building, fostering and maintaining a winning team and workplace culture
- Cold Store experience is preferred but not essential
Qualifications:
- Qualifications in Warehousing & Logistics desirable however not required
Skills:
- People person - energized through connecting with people.
- Analytical mindset - always seeking to understand the why behind the outcome
- Financial Acumen - understanding the cost implications of the decisions we make, seeking to optimize the business success against our customers needs
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerBi, PowerPoint)
- A strong focus on ensuring and building a safe working environment for self, direct reports and visitors
