The purpose of the role:

As part of the PMX Commercial Team, the Commercial Analyst plays a key role in the maintenance and enhancement of PMX suite of reporting tools across ANZ.

These tools are the heart of our tracking and decision-making process. The Analyst will be a key contributor to ensuring they remain accurate at all time but also relevant in ever changing landscape. The Analyst will also assist in creating actionable insights to improve PMX commercial performance.

The role will assist the Head of Commercial for ANZ, as well as the broader PMX team.


Key outputs:

Maintain and enhance PMX Commercial Reporting tools

• Accountable for the update of all PMX Power BI dashboard, by ingesting the multiple data sources required

• Ensure data accuracy

• Take care of the multiple stakeholders involved in the process from data suppliers to dashboard users

• Drive automation with an aim to reduce processing time

• Participate in the development of new reporting capabilities


Reporting and analysis

• Improve forecast accuracy by monitoring multi-year trends, as well as market landscape

• Accountable for delivering global reporting timely and accurately

• Prepare comprehensive investment report and performance summaries aimed to finding new opportunities and potential risks

• Assist the creation of ad-hoc in depth analysis


Ideal experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in an Analyst role

• Tertiary education in Finance, Science, Statistics or Economics is advantageous

• Strong numerical and analytical experience

• Knowledge of BI/Data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI etc) and Excel is necessary

• Experience across Word & PowerPoint

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Aptitude to thrive in a busy environment, love finding a solution to problems and constantly striving to learn new things and grow

• Natural team player, with a desire to collaborate and contribute culturally

• Analytical thinking and asking questions to clarify and challenge problems

• Naturally open, transparent, candid and with positive energy, optimism and can-do attitude
