What you’ll do

  • Business/Regional Business Partnering: Serve as the primary finance business partner for a defined regional or business unit, supporting regional leadership with commercial insights and financial analysis.

  • Commercial Reporting and Performance Analysis: Analyze regional revenue, margin, order book, and cost trends to identify root causes and recommend improvements. Produce region-specific reporting packs, dashboards, and commentary for senior leaders.

  • Budgeting, Forecasting and Planning (Regional Focus): Partner with FP&A Centers of Excellence to ensure regional inputs into plans, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans reflect commercial expectations. Support scenario modeling, key driver analyses, and sensitivity assessments.

  • Commercial Project and Tender Support: Provide financial modeling, pricing analysis, and risk assessment for customer tenders and large opportunities. Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure tender submissions reflect accurate costing, margin expectations, and commercial assumptions.

  • Investment Appraisal and Value Analysis: Support assessment of regional capital investments, customer programs, and make/buy/move analyses.

  • Governance, Control and Alignment with CoEs: Ensure regional adherence to pricing governance, financial controls, and commercial approval frameworks. Collaborate with Finance & Accounting, Operations Finance, and FP&A CoEs to resolve issues, align standards, and ensure accurate financial outcomes.

What you’ll bring

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance

  • Experience working in a multi-jurisdictional or international business environment

  • Proven track record of business partnering and working in a matrix organization

  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen with excellent communication skills to synthesize and present complex data

Nice-to-haves:

  • Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA)

  • Proficiency in financial management software such as SAP

  • Experience in mining or industrial sectors

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
