About the role:

Working closely with the Commercial Director you will assist with the management of JCDecaux contracts with private, business and government clients and the development of outdoor advertising signage opportunities across NSW. The role will see you involved in negotiating licenses and lease renewals, contract management and administration of contracts, as well as assessing new opportunities as they arise.

 

A Day in the Life:

Whilst there’s no typical day in the dynamic world of media, you can expect your role to involve the following:

  • Retain existing contracts
    • Assist and process the renewal of private, business and government leases with landlords
    • Ensure the timely exercise of lease / license options
    • Assist in the liaison with solicitors, consulting advisers and other third parties as necessary to resolve commercial or license issues
    • Respond to landlord queries
  • Assist in the management, preparation and submission of tenders and responses for commercial contracts
  • Assist in the preparation of commercial business cases
  • New asset development
    • Assist in the review of new business opportunities with the Commercial Development team
    • As directed, assist the Commercial Development team with town planning applications for new or conversion of billboard sites to other formats
    • Assist and liaise with JCDecaux Operations team to facilitate construction of outdoor signage
  • Reporting


About You:

You’ll have demonstrated experience within Asset or Commercial Property Management. Someone with exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills and a real team player. In addition to:

  • Strong presentation skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Experience within media desirable but not essential
  • University Degree qualified in Business, Property, Law or other relevant field
