Job Description

At TAL, we’re here to protect what matters most, and this role plays a vital part in making that promise real. As a Commercial Reporting Analyst within Lifebroker, you’ll help turn complex data into clear insight, enabling stronger decisions that support sustainable growth and trusted partnerships. By bringing clarity to commercial performance, this role helps leaders understand what’s working, where to focus next, and how we continue to deliver value for customers and partners alike. It’s meaningful work that connects insight to impact across the business.

In this role you will:

  • Manage end‑to‑end insurer commission processes, including calculation, validation, reconciliation and accrual preparation.
  • Produce accurate and timely management and operational reporting, covering performance, P&L and alliance partner outcomes.
  • Support month‑end accounting activities, including headcount checks, expense accruals and P&L reconciliations.
  • Prepare variance analysis against budget, providing clear commentary to support management decision‑making.
  • Assist with budgeting, reforecasting and sales forecasting, supporting data collection, validation and assumptions.
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across reporting outputs, completing regular checks to ensure consistent and reliable results.

Qualifications

  • Strong commercial and financial foundations, underpinned by basic accounting knowledge or relevant qualifications.
  • Advanced Excel capability, with hands‑on experience using Power BI and SQL to analyse data and generate insight is desirable.
  • A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail, taking pride in producing reliable, trusted insights.
  • Commercial curiosity and analytical thinking, with the ability to turn data into clear, practical recommendations.
  • Working familiarity with Salesforce and Snowflake, enabling confident navigation of modern data and reporting environments is desirable but not essential.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach, building strong relationships and managing priorities with confidence and integrity.
