Philips ANZ is seeking an energetic Communications and Brand Manager to join our Head Office in North Ryde. This pivotal position is dedicated to elevating Philips’ status as a leader in health technology while nurturing and safeguarding the brand's reputation across Australia and New Zealand. As the Communications and Brand Manager, you will lead the strategic communications and brand initiatives across ANZ while also serving as the Communications and Brand Business Partner for the Imaging business across APAC. You will develop and execute integrated communications strategies that support business priorities, raise brand visibility, and position Philips as a trusted partner in healthcare and imaging innovation — applying commercial insight to translate complex healthcare technologies into clear, compelling narratives and providing strategic communications and brand guidance to senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
Your Role
- Serve as strategic communications and brand advisor to ANZ leadership and Imaging business leader and teams across APAC. Provide strategic counsel on messaging, executive visibility, and reputation management.
- Develop and execute internal and external communications and brand strategies supporting business priorities and license to operate.
- Drive strategic storytelling and thought leadership, positioning Philips and its leaders as trusted voices in the healthcare industry and imaging innovation in ANZ and across APAC.
- Manage media relations and external engagement with key healthcare, technology, and business media.
- Support issues and crisis communications, including monitoring emerging risks and advising leadership on response and messaging.
- Lead communications for key business milestones, including product launches, partnerships, and industry initiatives.
- Partner with global, regional and country teams to ensure aligned messaging, brand consistency, and integrated communications and brand impact.
- Manage external agencies and communications partners to deliver high-quality programs.
You’re the Right Fit If
- You bring 10+ years of in-country and regional experience in communications, brand, or marketing communications ideally within healthcare, technology, or multinational organizations.
- Proven experience as a strategic communications advisor to senior leaders.
- Strong storytelling and content development skills across traditional and digital channels.
- Experience in integrated communications strategy, media relations, reputation management, and crisis communications.
- Understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and media landscape across ANZ and APAC would be ideal.
- A collaborative stakeholder manager comfortable working in a global, matrixed organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
