Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and culturally attuned Communications Lead to support a senior executive in managing strategic communications across the APAC region. This role will serve as a trusted advisor and execution partner, driving internal alignment, external engagement, and cross-functional collaboration with precision and empathy.
This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, and can be based in Sydney or Brisbane, Australia.
Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
Craft and refine messaging, speeches, presentations, LinkedIn content and briefings for the executive across diverse audiences.
Manage executive visibility and thought leadership across internal and external channels.
Develop and implement communication strategies that foster clarity, engagement, and alignment across APAC teams.
Partner with HR, operations, and regional leaders to support change management, culture-building, and employee engagement initiatives.
Coordinate messaging within our APAC region, ensure our All Hands, Newsletters, Sales Kick Off, events and videos are cohesive and reflect our culture and values.
Coordinate messaging and relationship management with vendors, partners, and external stakeholders.
Act as a bridge between global strategy and local execution, ensuring relevance and resonance, while adapting communications to reflect cultural nuances.
Provide counsel and support on crisis communications, media relations, and reputation management as needed.
Manage communication calendars, content pipelines, and reporting frameworks.
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
Proven experience in corporate communications, executive support, or stakeholder engagement within APAC markets.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, LinkedIn, analytics platforms Adobe Creative Suite, and social media analytics tools.
Familiar with APAC regional compliance and data privacy standards in communications.
