The Role
We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Communications Specialist to join our Business Improvement Team in South Brisbane. This pivotal role will support a multi-country ERP implementation, designing and delivering communication strategies that shape how thousands of employees across diverse regions understand, engage with, and adopt new systems, processes, and ways of working.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive change communication plans aligned to program milestones and stakeholder needs
- Craft tailored messaging for executives, business units, and frontline groups to build understanding and support
- Produce high-impact communications materials and manage distribution across the channels
- Collaborate with business units to reinforce key messages that drive readiness and behavioural change
- Track engagement, feedback, and sentiment to assess communication impact and adjust strategies accordingly
- Ensure consistency across countries while tailoring content to cultural and business contexts
- Identify communication-related risks or resistance signals early and escalate for timely intervention
- Partner with program leadership, PMO, and business units to ensure communications support ERP milestones and benefits realisation
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in change and corporate communications (large-scale transformation projects highly regarded).
- Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation skills across multiple channels.
- Ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences and cultures.
- Proven experience in communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and measurement of communication effectiveness.
- Relevant qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, or Change Management.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for connecting people to meaningful change.
