Who We Are
At OKX, we believe that the future will be reshaped by crypto, and ultimately contribute to every individual's freedom.
OKX is a leading crypto exchange, and the developer of OKX Wallet, giving millions access to crypto trading and decentralized crypto applications (dApps). OKX is also a trusted brand by hundreds of large institutions seeking access to crypto markets. We are safe and reliable, backed by our Proof of Reserves.
Across our multiple offices globally, we are united by our core principles: We Before Me, Do the Right Thing, and Get Things Done. These shared values drive our culture, shape our processes, and foster a friendly, rewarding, and diverse environment for every OK-er.
About the Opportunity
  • The Community Growth Manager will report to the Senior Growth Manager and act as the on-the-ground voice of OKX within Australia's crypto community.
  • This is a hands-on, individual contributor role centered on building genuine relationships and driving local engagement across community platforms and events.
  • Success in this role will require strong community instincts, content creation skills, and close coordination with Marketing, Growth, and Affiliate teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Identify, join and actively participate in Australian crypto trading communities across Discord, Telegram, X, Reddit and other relevant platforms.
  • Build authentic relationships with community members, moderators and local ecosystem participants.
  • Attend crypto meetups, conferences and community events to represent OKX and strengthen local brand presence.
  • Act as the face of OKX within the Australian crypto community, helping educate and introduce users to the platform without operating as an affiliate or business development representative.
  • Manage and grow OKX Australia’s local social media presence with a strong focus on creating a relatable, community-first Australian voice.
  • Create and curate locally relevant content that resonates with Australian traders and crypto enthusiasts.
  • Foster engagement across OKX-owned community channels and encourage meaningful discussions.
  • Support the planning and execution of OKX Australia community events, with the goal of eventually owning regular meetups and community activations.
  • Work closely with Affiliate Business Development Managers to identify high-potential communities and facilitate introductions where appropriate, helping convert engaged communities into strategic affiliate partnerships.
  • Gather insights and feedback from the community and share them with internal Product, Marketing, Growth and Affiliate teams.
  • Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams to localise campaigns and community initiatives for Australia.
  • Track community growth, engagement, sentiment and community-driven acquisition opportunities, reporting on key metrics and learnings.
What We Look For In You
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in community management, social media management, or content marketing, ideally within crypto, fintech, gaming, or another online-native community.
  • Genuine, demonstrable presence in or connection to Australian crypto communities (Discord, Telegram, X, Reddit) — existing relationships are a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of crypto trading, DeFi, and the broader digital asset ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to create engaging, platform-native content (social posts, community threads, event recaps) with an authentic, relatable voice.
  • Experience organizing or supporting in-person meetups, events, or activations.
  • Comfortable operating as a public-facing brand representative — confident communicator, both online and in person.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work cross-functionally with Affiliate BD, Marketing, Product and Growth teams.
  • Highly self-directed, execution-focused, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a community-building role.
  • Strong analytical skills — able to track and report on engagement, sentiment, and growth metrics.
Perks & Benefits
  • Competitive total compensation package
  • L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
  • Various team building programs and company events
  • Wellness and meal allowances
  • Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
  • More that we love to tell you along the process!
