About the Role: 

The Compliance Officer, guided by the Chief Compliance Officer, teams up with various internal departments, our headquarters, and trusted external partners. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the company’s compliance efforts across different regions, helping us stay aligned with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies as a licensed financial services provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with local agents, corporate service providers, and regulatory authorities to manage corporate secretarial and compliance obligations in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Prepare, review, and file statutory forms, resolutions, meeting minutes, and supporting corporate documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date corporate records, registers, and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor filing deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documents to regulators and authorities.
  • Liaise with internal departments including Sales, Marketing, Back Office, and Human Resources to collect relevant information and support operational compliance requirements.
  • Support the development, implementation, and enhancement of the company’s compliance framework, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of compliance projects and initiatives.
  • Provide requested company documents and compliance information to internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Support headquarters and management in maintaining governance standards and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • May require occasional visits to service providers, regulators, or government offices.

Requirements
  • Good knowledge of financial services regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Prior experience in compliance, legal practice, or financial services industry is preferred.
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a cross-border and multicultural environment.
  • Ability to work independently while following instructions and meeting deadlines.
