About the Opportunity

The Consultant is an ESG professional that can support the delivery of projects from strategy through to execution and support the development and enhancement of tools, processes, and practices by bringing new ideas and thinking to the table. 

This is a client-facing role utilising your ESG/sustainability experience. You’ll be managing competing priorities and contributing to the team, leveraging your project management skills and demonstrating a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service outcomes for all clients. You will work across a range of clients in both the public and private sectors.   

 

Some examples of the types of projects that you will be part of include:

  • Developing strategies or delivering bespoke solutions to address client ESG opportunities and challenges.
  • Carrying out an ESG Health Check to understand the current state of an organisation.
  • Developing a client Strategy and Roadmap to be able to set and achieve ESG targets.
  • Developing a sustainability report for an organisation.
  • Assisting an association to develop a holistic ESG Strategy and Roadmap for its members.
  • Supporting a government agency engage with stakeholders to develop solutions that support the circular economy

About You

Qualifications & experience we're looking for from the successful candidate:

  • Generalist consulting experience across multiple sectors and engagement types, with track record of delivery. 
  • Deep knowledge of the ESG and sustainability space and experience in delivering solutions for clients in response to ESG challenges. 
  • Demonstrable experience and ability to build rapport and work with senior stakeholders across a broad range of clients. 
  • Ability to challenge clients thoughtfully, while developing relationships to support their ESG aspirations.  
  • An aptitude to grasp new concepts and effectively produce results. 
  • Core consulting skills (research, analysis, presentation, and attention to detail). 
  • Proactivity and experience building structures and processes within a team. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and innovative culture focused on developing strategic solutions that create long term value for clients.  

Please note, salary for this role will commence at $90,000 package (inclusive of superannuation).
