Team & Position Overview

    The Client Engagement Team (CET) is the analytical and consultative backbone of Analytic Partners. Our model is hands-on: the people who partner with clients also prepare, analyse, and deliver data-driven insights, helping them use our technology solutions to make better decisions. Because all work is completed in-house, this high-touch approach requires strong analytics capability, clear communication, commercial curiosity, and a consultative mindset to help clients grow ROI.

    As a Consultant with Analytic Partners, you will advise and partner with leading Australian, New Zealand, and global brands, influencing strategic and tactical planning across marketing and broader business priorities. Your work will help uncover growth opportunities worth tens of millions of dollars, supported by strong client relationships and engagement with senior audiences, from brand managers and media directors to CMOs and CEOs. You will deepen your expertise in marketing, analytics, and business drivers, using predictive models and client data to identify what drives sales, appointments, accounts, brand health, or any other outcome our clients want to grow.

    You will split your time between collaborating with colleagues and clients and working independently. We support your development through immersive onboarding Bootcamp, which builds the technical and conceptual foundations for success, as well as ongoing training in new methodologies, consulting skills, and career growth.

    The Consultant role will span across multiple projects and includes processing data, building models, and creating presentations that translate analysis into clear insights and recommendations. You will also guide junior analysts in their day-to-day work and career development, while contributing to company-wide initiatives beyond client delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead multiple customer engagements day-to-day, in collaboration with CET leadership, to help  customers make optimal investment decisions based on the combination of our proprietary technology and advisory services.
  • Manage customer delivery: align project timelines, manage key customer communication, manage tasks and goals of other team members, ensure deliverables are of high quality and meet project deadlines.
  • Accountable for driving the most efficient data collection process with customers and build cutting edge statistical/econometric models.
  • Build strong relationships with customers understand their business objectives and deliver presentations with actionable insights and recommendations to drive impactand long-term partnerships.
  • Act as point of contact for customer projects, being able to address ad-hoc client requests and questions about data, models, software, etc.
  • Collaborate with leadership to balance project resources across teams, and support in managing towards revenue targets.
  • Train and coach new & existing team members, providing feedback and guidance in the moment during daily work.
  • Work on a hybrid model, with team members spending at least three days each week in our North Sydney office to support team collaboration, connection, and client impact.

What we look for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (ideal areas of study/related study including: Business Analytics and Management, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, and/or Marketing)
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing mix modeling, digital media analysis, business focused analytics, advertising effectiveness analysis or other related client insights experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Project and people management experience
  • Experience developing and presenting presentations using insights derived from analytics
  • Ability to apply marketing and commercial intelligence concepts for business success
  • You must be eligible to work in Australia on an unlimited basis to be considered for this job.
