About the Role
As a Heritage Consultant, you’ll:
- Conduct aboriginal cultural heritage and archaeological surveys and assessments, primarily in NSW and occasionally in other regions.
- Work alongside and consult with Traditional Owners, ensuring respectful and meaningful collaboration.
- Provide technical advice and services to clients while honing your project management and technical skills.
- Develop and grow in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, with exposure to a wide variety of projects and challenges.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking passionate, proactive professionals with:
- A tertiary degree in archaeology, anthropology, Aboriginal studies, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of fieldwork experience in aboriginal cultural heritage or archaeology.
- Solid knowledge of NSW aboriginal heritage legislation and the statutory approvals process.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills.
- The ability to conduct fieldwork and operate in remote locations when needed.
- A valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Familiarity with WHS obligations and responsibilities.
- Authorisation to work in Australia.
